This song began as a poem expressing the intergenerational trauma and hope of the Armenian Diaspora amidst the current genocidal war being perpetrated by the governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey on our indigenous land Artsakh. I recorded vocals in Los Angeles and Arsen Petrosyan (based in Charentsavan, Armenia) graciously agreed to provide accompaniment on the Duduk, our ancient Armenian instrument. He recorded the song in Yerevan, Armenia with arrangement by Razmik Baghdasaryan and mixing by Artak Zeynalyan.

All proceeds from this track will be donated to All for Armenia and ongoing support of the surviving Armenians of Artsakh.

A raised knife and flash of light as it strikes
